Episode 4- John Mclusky – Towards a strategy of HIV nurse education

Within the podcast we talk about NHIVNA’s Education strategy, the thinking and process behind the strategy’s development and how NHIVNA are currently implementing the strategy. John shared his thoughts on nurse education and how we develop the HIV nurses of the future. We explore practical tips on how to start a career in HIV nursing and the role of continuous professional development.

John Mclusky is an Associate Professor in Nursing and currently Director of Professions at the University of Nottingham. He is an active member of the National HIV Nurses Association and sits on the Executive Committee. He has worked in HIV care for over 25 years and has a particular interest in educational development.
